Tokyo Skytree, with its full height of 634 metres, is the tallest structure in Japan. Although it is primarily used as a broadcasting and radio tower, the tower is a must-go for tourists visiting Tokyo. With its abundance of unique shops, restaurants and attractions, it is a popular spot amongst the Japanese as well. Visitors can spend the whole day visiting the many shops and attractions or spend part of the day and afterwards, relax at the planetarium and the aquarium close by.
Tokyo Skytree is a great way for people to take in a breathtaking view of Tokyo. With its two observation decks, Tembo Deck (at 350 meters) and the Tembo Gallery (at 450 meters), it boasts the highest observation in Japan.
At 350 meters high, visitors can take breathtaking photos of Tokyo (and the Kanto region). It is separated into three floors. Visitors can see the city from a 360 degree panoramic view on the top floor, dine and shop in the Musashi Sky Restaurant and souvenirs shops on the middle floor, and relax in the cafe on the lowest floor. Families and friends will be able to enjoy sipping a cup of coffee while relaxing and gazing at the view.
Visitors can take the second set of elevators to the Tembo Gallery, which is a sloped spiral ramp circling around the tower. At 450 meters high, it is “the world’s highest skywalk” to date and offers an outstanding view of not just the city, but the whole Kanto region. Be awed by the mesmerising 3D panoramic view of the hustling and bustling city of Tokyo.
