Kashogama ceramic art Factory is near the Kiyomizu-dera Temple and you can make cups, teacups and rice bowl within 20minutes. You can just make a shape from a cray and the factory instructor will finish it.
There are 8 colors of cray and you can pick the favorite one. It will take a month for baking and shipping. How about making one for the trip memories for Japan, also it is a good surprise presents for your friends!

TIME SLIP TO HEIAN PERIOD! – IYASAKA
The Costume of Heian Period is well known as Juni Hitoe (Japanese:十二単). Juni Hitoe is the a ceremonial dress of a Japanese court lady and put on twelve layers of kimono. The total weight of the dress is 44 pounds!
You can wear the Juni Hitoe and take pictures at Iyasaka. Bring your cameras, wear the Juni Hitoe and feel like a court lady of Japan!

JAPANESE PAPERMAKING FACTORY – WASHIKURABU
Washi is the Japanese origin paper and it is thin, but durable comparing to the western paper. Washi is used to many things such as shoji (sliding paper door) and byoubu (folding screen) which you can see at temples. Washi was registered in UNESCO World History List of intangible cultural asset.
At this factory, you can experience the Japanese Papermaking and take home your original piece of Washi with you to your homeland.
