Hooters Japan Tokyo | Japan Guide

Yes, we know “washoku” Japanese cuisine tastes good and the traditional dietary culture has been designated as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Yet, isn’t there some time when you feel like something different…maybe…like a hamburger, Cobb Salad, Buffalo Wings, etc? In such a case, you could use Hooters.

Needless to say, the Hooters is a casual American dining and sports bar. They serve salads, sandwiches, hamburgers, seafood, and their original chicken wings. In addition to their foods, the restaurant chain is well-known for its logo, owl, and waitresses, cheerleader-like Hooters Girls, with their uniform of white tank top and runner’s shorts. The first branch of the Hooters in Japan was opened in Akasaka, Tokyo, in 2010 and four more branches in Ginza, Shibuya, Osaka, and Shinjuku have opened since then.

When you step into the restaurant, it is America there; and the pretty Hooters Girls welcome you cheerfully with smiles. You can enjoy, of course, the food, sports on the screens, and conversation with the Hooters Girls. The Hooters’ original concept has not changed much, where they try to provide good hospitality in the healthy and friendly atmosphere. And, their menu, logo, Hooters Girls with their uniform, etc. also stay similar to those in the original restaurant.

Maybe you can visit the restaurant when you just feel like to enjoy their food or watching sports with beer; or when you need someone who can cheer you up.
