It’s around 15 min by bus from Kameoka St of Sagano Trolley Train, so that it’s very popular tour to go to Kameoka by Sagano Trolley Train and return by rafting to Arashiyama. Rafting takes around 120min.

Sagano Romantic Train is the sightseeing trolley train in Arashiyama to operate 7.3km along the Sagano valley from Sagano Station to Kameoka Station. It takes around 25 min for the one way.

Tenryu-ji Temple, in the past, occupied large part of Arashiyama area as the precincts. Today Tenryu-ji temple is the world heritage as the important cultural assets in Kyoto. The famous feature of this temple is the dragon painted on the ceiling in 1997. The original painting is now so damaged that you can see that during a limited period.
